Dev Joshi (born 28 November 2000) is an Indian television actor known for portraying the role of Baalveer in Sony Sab's Baal Veer and Baalveer Returns. He has worked in more than 20 Gujarati movies and many advertisements. He is also known for playing the role of teenage Chandra Shekhar Azad in Chandrashekhar. Dev Joshi started acting at a young age in stage performances, theatre, advertisements, and regional Gujarati Films & shows. In 2012, he started with his first Television Series in the Lead Role of Baalveer, an Indian Superhero. Since 2003, he has performed in more than 100 stage shows, 20 Films, 7 Television Series, and 50 Advertisements in his 18 years of Career as a Professional Actor. For his Exceptional & Consistent Career in Arts & Culture, he is honored by the President and Prime Minister of India with the National Medal of Bal Shakti Puraskar, the highest civilian honor in India for anyone under the age of 18. He is also cited as the "Youngest Actor of India" by the India Book of Records and also awarded by Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award for Best Entertainer. He is awarded by Sony SAB with SAB Ke Anokhe Awards as Best Child Actor for three consecutive years 2013, 2014, 2015.
