Puneet has been directing ad films for leading brands in India for past 3 years & in that short time he has acquired the reputation of an emotional storyteller with his films, Puneet has directed for brands like Gillette, Ford, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Airtel, Zee, Vivo Phones, GSK, Kotak, Fortis Group, Piramal Group, LIC, Sonata, Samsonite, ICICI, HDFC Life, Airtel, USHA, Western Union, Parachute, Big Bazar, Vivo, Ghadi, Fortis, Schmitten Chocolates, Parle G, Himalaya, Havells, Pigeon, Platinum Rings, Asian Shoes & Muthhut Group with agencies like Ogilvy, McCann Bombay, BBDO, JWT, Mudra, Leo Burnett, ADK Fortune, Autumn, Dentsu, IsoBar, Grey etc. His Gillette film on gender equality has been widely celebrated & was Grey India's official entry in Cannes Lions 2019 & it won 1st Cannes Silver Lion for India. Recently the Gillette film also won 3 Spikes Asia Awards for Film, music & entertainment & 2 Effie awards. He won National Gold for Best Public Service Film at FoxGlow awards in 2017 for his very 1st ad. 2 of his films featured as Best Diwali ads of 2018. ! was also found mention in the Best Digital ads of 2018. His recent film on organ donation was nominated in the prestigious Kyoorius Awards 2019. Before that, he did theater in Delhi with Act One under the mentor-ship of Mr. N K Sharma, then he finished his film school in LA, joined Mr. Anubhav Sinha as an assistant. He also worked as a creative director for Rhiti Sports Management Pvt Ltd, the company that manages MS Dhoni, He directed & produced ads featuring MS Dhoni for them. He was also involved as creative producer (uncredited) in the process of mounting the MS Dhoni biopic.
