Giovanni James Bertoia
After earning a degree in Foreign Languages, Bertoia spent some time living around the world. First in Florida, USA, then Toronto, Canada, then Nice, France. Later, he returned home as a college student again, studying International and Diplomatic Sciences. Two years later, he realized a deep desire to pursue acting. In every chance he got, he would study the craft, while auditioning. In that same summer, he was cast in a lead role in the American feature film, A Venetian Dream. Bertoia was lucky to have colleagues who encouraged him to pursue his dream in the United States. Bertoia then moved to NYC, where he spent ten "tough but beautiful" formative years, and where he also attended the William Esper Studio. He's since kept himself busy, actively studying and auditioning in the effort to continue honing his craft, and building his career. Thanks to his foreign language speaking competencies (he's fluent in four languages), he is sought by both national and international productions. Besides movies, his career is also made of Theater, TV series, commercials and music videos.
