Scott Ly's family were Boat Refugees from Vietnam right after the fall of Saigon. Scott, the youngest of four children, is the first born in America, specifically Houston, Texas. However, he considers the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California his hometown and speaks conversational Vietnamese. As a natural fighter and athlete, he was the captain of his high school's basketball and wrestling teams. Scott also practiced Brazilian Jujitsu and wanted to pursue MMA. But, his knack for performing and leading led acting to become his main focus. Ly's credits include Bones, Criminal Minds, Animal Kingdom, Young & The Restless, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders to name a few. Ly has performed on stage, in national commercials and print campaigns.
