Sophia Rideout
Sophia has always loved performing. She was involved in musical theater almost continuously from age 4 through high school, with her first role being a tiny mouse in Cinderella. Nine years later she made audiences laugh as Minerva the stepsister in another production of Cinderella, and was nominated for that role for Best Supporting Actress by National Youth Arts. In high school, Sophia landed roles as Miss Hannigan in Annie, Mayzie in Seussical, and Vi Moore in Footloose, for which she won Artist of the Year from National Youth Arts. She was also a runner up in Broadway San Diego's high school awards and was in the awards show's honor chorus.
In her early teens, Sophia decided to try her hand at film acting. She enrolled in on-camera acting classes and workshops and began submitting for background work, auditions and agencies. She keeps very busy with theater rehearsals, film auditions, a part-time job, and maintaining her perfect run of Straight-A report cards.
