David Valencia
David Valencia is an Australian stage and screen actor. A graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), David's screen credits include 'Loving Pablo' alongside Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz; Elijah Wood's production of 'The Boy'; and Season 3 of Netflix's 'Narcos'. His collaborations as an actor have screened at multiple film festivals including the Venice, Toronto, San Sebastian, Warsaw and Bogotá International Film Festival.
His stage credits include the Belvoir St Theatre and State Theatre Company of South Australia co-commission, 'Mortido'; Malthouse Theatre's bilingual production of 'Blood Wedding'; and Queensland Theatre's upcoming production of 'Bernhardt / Hamlet'.
His behind-the-scenes credits include 'Spiderhead' with Chris Hemsworth and Miles Teller; 'True Spirit'; Lionsgate's 'Daybreakers'; 'Nim's Island' starring Jodie Foster; Tim Minchin's 'Upright' and NBCUniversal's 'Young Rock'.
He has been selected to engage in master classes with two-time Academy Award winner, Kevin Spacey; Triple Crown winner and Co-President of The Actors Studio, Ellen Burstyn; and American acting coaches Elizabeth Kemp, Larry Moss and Ivana Chubbuck.
David has dual Australian-Colombian citizenship; has his American Green Card in place; and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
He is currently in development of his Black-List-trending screenplay, "HERE, NOW."
