Kurtis Anton
Writer and Producer Kurtis Anton was born in San Diego, CA. in 1961 to Father Richard Anton, a German immigrant arriving to Ellis Island in 1947, and mother Paulette Kitzmann, of Lansing Michigan. He has two siblings, sisters Denise Renee and Richelle Monique and two children, Ambrielle Angelina born 2007, and Timothy Rustam born 2002. Kurtis' father Richard Anton, born 1939 Darmstadt, Germany, was the founding drummer of the 60's troupe the Polka Pals, and a dear friend of the great Luciano Pavarotti.
Martin Milner (Adam 12, Route 66) was Kurtis' first manager in 1981 when he along with Wally Passet, Jonny Coffin, and Andy Milner started the So Cal 1980's Surf Metal rock band, Snakebyte, releasing their first vinyl EP in 1985. FNA Records Re Mastered the Snakebyte works of the 80's, releasing a 16 track CD worldwide in 2012.
To this day Kurtis drums regularly with numerous musicians in the Christian music space.
In 2013 Kurtis was called back to Hollywood as an actor by Dee Lins and Hollywood Productions. Soon thereafter Kurtis was discovered by Jenn Gotzon, (God's Country, Frost Nixon) and the Acting/Modeling Agency - AMTC and Carey Lewis Arban. 2013-2015 Kurtis completed two years intensive AMTC Bridge Training and subsequent AMTC Launch Training.
Early in 2014 Kurtis was cast in the David M Gutel film, Peace Of Mind. The multi-nominated western short went on to be selected from over 40,000 worldwide submissions, making the top 200 finalists round in the HBO, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's "Project Greenlight".
A coastal north county San Diego based writer, producer, cinematographer and actor, Kurtis has transformed his experience in over 40 years of music entertainment to filmmaking, bringing life-affirming values to movie audiences.
Conducting 17 years research, including the solo ascent and descent of 24 mountain peaks in the Eastern California Sierra Nevada and North Western US on skis, Kurtis realized first hand the generational changes that have overtaken our history via technology.

In 2017, as CEO, Kurtis Anton implemented Snakebyte Productions expansion, founding and financing a full service production suite and cinema equipment leasing and logistics inventory, to both inhouse and outside productions.
As of 2021 Kurtis and a proud Board of Directors at Snakebyte had brought Snakebyte Productions to a new level as a reputable, frontline, financially viable, production company and has produced or co-produced over 20 feature length theatrical films..
In mid 2017 Snakebyte launched a full Support AV - G&E rentals division and in August 2017, Snakebyte launched an Animation Division, producing 5 animations in 2017, and continuing a concepting, illustration, and animation division as a key core element of Snakebyte Production's capital driving revenue generators alongside its production services in filmmaking.
In March 2017, Kurtis Anton and Snakebyte Productions launched Snakebyte subsidiaries Slategate Cinema, LLC and Ediza Lake Pictures, LLC as Snakebyte's film slate finance vehicle and film holdings companies, owned and managed by Snakebyte.
Kurtis' first full length fiction novel adapted from his award wining screenplay, What Child Is This will be released late in 2021 under Simon and Schuster's subsidiary publishing house, Archway Publishing
