Mandela Bellamy
A classically trained actor and dancer, Mandela Bellamy has started to make a name for herself in critically acclaimed television and film dramas such as The Blacklist, Jessica Jones, Madam Secretary, Private Life (Netflix), Wonderstruck (Amazon) and most notably as inmate, Rosalie Deitland on the hit Netflix show, "Orange is the New Black".
Raised in Youngstown, OH, Mandela, the daughter of a now retired criminal defense attorney, got started in community theater at age 12. After many years of highly competitive dance and public speaking competitions throughout the country she moved to Los Angeles on a day's notice after deciding to fully commit to her acting career.
Mandela is certainly no stranger to working alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment. She's been featured in music videos starring Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. Mandela made her Tribeca debut in 2019 starring as Sherry in the episodic series "The Future is Then" sponsored by HBO. Mandela can also be seen in the DC's blockbuster "Joker" starring Joaquin Phoenix.
