Meg Crosbie
Meg Crosbie has made a name for herself with her work in film, television and stage. Meg made her movie debut in Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa where she played the role of a pageant contestant. More recently, Meg explored a more dramatic role as young Jody Linder who sees her parents murdered in, "The Scent of Rain & Lightning," opposite Maika Monroe, Maggie Grace, Bonnie Bedelia and Will Patton. Meg can be seen as a series regular on the Nickelodeon series, "W.I.T.'s Academy." Meg stars as Emily, a sneaky, clever witch who desperately wants to develop her powers. Meg appeared in the film adaptation of John Green's, "Paper Towns", starring Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne. Meg played the role of Ruthie Spiegelman, Margo Roth Spiegelman's (Delevingne) younger sister. She was also in the Sundance Film Festival film, "Grandma" directed by Paul Weitz and starring Lily Tomlin, Marcia Gay Harden, Julia Garner, Sam Elliott and Judy Greer. She is a scene-stealer who gets to punch Lily Tomlin's character.
Born in Davidson, NC, Meg is the youngest of three children. At age four, Meg began taking dance and gymnastics lessons where she discovered her passion for performing and love of the stage. Meg won several National Dance Awards including Solo and Trio National Titles and had the opportunity to work with many amazing professional choreographers. She has performed with several professional theatrical companies in their productions of "Scrooge the Musical," "Miracle On 34th Street," "Oliver! the Musical," "The Cat In The Hat," "A Christmas Carol" and Disney's "Tarzan The Musical." Her most favorite role was Annie in "Annie the Musical."
