Shree Natraj Dheeran
Velayutham Shree Natraj (born 27 March 1979), known professionally as Dheeran, is an Indian actor, executive producer, and overseas film distributor who predominantly works in Indian cinema.
Early Life and Education
Dheeran was born on 27 March 1979 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his education at Loyola College, Chennai.
Career
Dheeran began his acting career with the film Vallavan (2006) directed by Silambarasan TR. After a break from 2007 to 2012, during which he worked in Singapore and the UAE, he returned to India and appeared in Sakka Podu Podu Raja (2017) starring Santhanam, Kavan (2017) directed by K.V. Anand, and the Telugu film Hippi (2019) directed by Obili N Krishna.
In addition to acting, Dheeran is also involved in film distribution and production. He distributed films such as Oh Baby, Rana Rangam, Venky Maama, and Acharya In America in Singapore. His production company, ANT Productions, partnered with People Media Factory to produce a documentary with cricketer Dwayne Bravo titled Men Take Lead. He also executed production and acted as a lead in the Tamil film SAALA (2022) and a creative producer for Vadakku Patti Ramasamy (2023)directed by Karthik Yogi, starring Santhanam and Megha Akash.
