Iris was born in Haifa, Israel to a Turkish father and Polish/Israeli mother. Her family moved to Montreal, Canada when she was 2 years old. She started acting in stage plays in Montreal at the age of ten and later studied Theatre Arts and Film at Vanier College and Concordia University. In 1989 she moved to Vancouver , British Columbia where she works in Film, Television, Voice Overs, and Commercials.
