Leyla Hart
Classically trained, Leyla has played roles from Shakespeare to Chekhov as well as acting in works from emerging contemporary writers, including her own. Starting out in the theatre, her love of screen very soon developed, offering the opportunity to work with a number of talented emerging directors in the UK and Australia, being a recent returnee from a six-year stint in Sydney.
Most recently, Leyla can be seen putting God through his professional paces as Head of HR for the Galaxy, in sci-fi comedy "God: The Performance Review" (due for release in Autumn 2017). She has also enjoyed roles in a range of short films and fringe theatre. She has appeared in TVC's for Landcom, Castrol, Barclays, McDonald Jones Homes, Cake Lingerie & Childs Farm.
Originally trained at East 15, Leyla went on to work with some of the best coaches Sydney had to offer. There, she was a regular member of Australia's most prestigious screen acting and audition class, taught by Les Chantery (The Actor's Station). Now, Leyla is a member of the Anthony Meindl Actors Workshop, based in London.
The skills developed in her initial career in investment banking and subsequently as a researcher have also enabled Leyla to develop a strong body of corporate acting work. In Australia, Leyla partnered with the leading national corporate training agency- Maura Fay Learning - to deliver role-play training and interactive workshops.
