Julian Grey
Julian Grey can be seen most recently in The Matrix Resurrections (2021) directed by Lana Wachowski. Grey's other recent films include Blumhouse's The Craft: Legacy (2020) directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, and Searchlight Pictures Downhill (2020), directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash.
Grey's first acting role was in 2016, on Fox's Wayward Pines (2015), where he played Jason, the town leader, at ten years old, who was the troubled son of Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo). Grey was cast that same year in a recurring role on Netflix's limited series Godless (2017), produced and directed by Scott Frank. Godless was named one of 2017's ten best shows by 'Vanity Fair' and 'The Washington Post.'
Born in Los Angeles to a German father and an American mother, Grey holds dual citizenship. He has a twin sister, and older brother, and an older half-sister. Grey is the only actor in the family and became interested in acting at eight years old when his older brother put Grey in his student short films for a cinematic arts academy he attended in middle school. Grey loved being "thrown into a trunk after being kidnapped by a bad guy" and was up for most anything his older brother asked of him, including cutting off a monster's head.
