Glen Gould
Glen is originally from the Mi'kmaq community of Membertou First Nation, located on the island of Unama'ki (aka Cape Breton), Nova Scotia. His father was a Steelworker/Electrician and his mother was a bookkeeper. He left home and headed for Toronto in 1990 at the age of 19 to pursue a career in Acting. Since then, he has appeared in a numerous amount of Theater, TV & Film productions throughout North America, appearing in over 50 Films & TV Shows.
Glen can be seen on: CTV's award-winning series CARDINAL as Det. Jerry Commanda, APTN's TRIBAL as Gordon Thundercloud, MOHAWK GIRLS as the grumpy father.
In film, he is best known for his role in RHYMES FOR YOUNG GHOULS and the Liam Neeson action film COLD PURSUIT.
In 2011 & 2012, Glen won him the prestigious David Renton Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor at the Atlantic Film Festival in 2011 and Best Actor at the Dreamspeaker's Film Festival in 2012 for his role in the feature film CHARLIE ZONE.
Glen won Best Actor at the 2014 American Indian Motion Picture Awards in San Francisco for his role in RHYMES FOR YOUNG GHOULS and in 2015, he garnished another Best Actor win at the Red Nation Film Festival in Los Angeles for his role in the feature film NORTH MOUNTAIN.
His oldest daughter, Nikki Gould, played Grace Cardinal on the long running series DEGRASSI: NEXT CLASS.
Glen lives North of Toronto, in North Bay.
