Courtney Paige is an award winning actress, writer and director born on August 5th in Kelowna, BC. Canada. She fell in love with performing at a young age and became a member of the Kelowna Community Theatre Company when she was eleven. Paige made her breakout performance as Annika on E! Entertainment's, The Arrangement and guest starred in the CW Lost Boys pilot for Warner Brothers, directed by Catherine Hardwicke. Courtney's five time Leo nominated, feature length directorial debut, The Color Rose, now known as The Sinners, was acquired by Arclight Films and Untitled Entertainment. Courtney wrote, directed and produced Chapel, a crime thriller starring Jeremy Sumpter and Lochlyn Munro. She has two upcoming feature films at the packaging stage. Paige has been featured in the Cannes market, Hollywood Life, Galore Magazine, Screen Daily and the Vancouver Sun. She is listed as one of the most influential young entrepreneurs in The New York Journal and is on the panel of jurors for Diversity in Cannes, Holly Short's, LAFA and other festivals. She is one of the founders and CEO of Yeehaw Films, a production company slated for pictures with Wagner Entertainment, Buffalo 8 and Wonderfilm. Paige's company was featured in Yahoo finance, bringing safer film finance opportunities to the film industry. Courtney owns an acting school and podcast platform with two partners called Cinema Sports Club. She aims to be an advocate for female filmmakers and has a solid foundation of training with Leonardo Dicaprio's acting coach, Larry Moss and a therapist who gave her a better understanding of psychology, Larry Shaw. Paige is a master with human behavior and brings a method acting, actor's director approach to her artistry. She understands all actors work differently and aims to help actors pull their deepest and most organic performances. Paige aims to leave a legacy on a global level for change amongst artists, capitalism and corruption to society. Shedding light on taboo and thought provoking subject matter.
