Kara Wang
Kara Wang is a Chinese American actress from Los Angeles. She speaks native Mandarin Chinese as well as the Hangzhou Chinese dialect. She also reads and writes both traditional and simplified Chinese. Kara started performing at the age of 6, actively involved in theatre and show choir throughout elementary, middle, and high school. At the age of 15, she signed her first agent.
Kara graduated with her BA in theatre from the University of California, Irvine. Upon graduation, she signed a global deal with a talent agency in Asia. Kara resided in Hong Kong and Beijing during the years of 2010-2015. During that time, she acted in over 20 Chinese film and television productions, including Caught in the Web by the renowned Chinese director Chen Kaige.
In 2015, Kara relocated back to Los Angeles. She can be seen recurring on Freeform's Good Trouble and Amazon's Goliath. She will next be seen on the big screen in the highly anticipated sequel Top Gun: Maverick (2020).
