Ari Barkan
Ari Barkan is an award-winning actor and producer from New York City. A young Brighton Beach native, who has been referred to by industry professionals as a "rising star", Ari is truly the definition of that term. Whether it is co-creating and starring in one of the most popular and well known Russian YouTube series entitled "Baba Fira"; or its' working alongside one of his best friends Glenn and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson - the phrase stays true. The same can be said of his work in several shows and films. Between working on feature films such as "First, We Take Brooklyn", alongside Harvey Keitel; Skin alongside Bill Camp and Vera Farmiga; and "Payback" alongside Matt Levett and Toby Leonard Moore, Ari found himself on the sets of popular television shows such as Madam Secretary, New Amsterdam, and Orange is The New Black. At this moment, Ari can be seen in the hit Amazon Prime series "Big Dogs", as well as the new Hulu limited-series "Monsterland" and the critically acclaimed "Lingua Franca" on Netflix. When not acting, Ari also enjoys to produce. Most recently, his latest project, a short film directed by Glenn Robert Ford, "The Fix", which he executive produced, won the Gold Award at the 2020 New York City Indie Film Festival. Payback is now out on VOD everywhere. Ari can next be seen opposite Ben Miliken, Richard Kind, Mark Dacascos and Janel Parrish in Run & Gun; and alongside Annie Murphy & Jamie Denbo in Kevin Can F Himself.
