Linda Powell
After a free-roaming army brat childhood and four years in Williamsburg at The College of William and Mary (where she earned her first acting paycheck playing a colonial "free woman of color" in addition to a degree in English with a theater minor) Linda moved to NYC which she still calls home today. Her Broadway credits include "The Trip to Bountiful" with Cicely Tyson, the Tony-nominated revival of "On Golden Pond" in which she starred with James Earl Jones and Leslie Uggams and "Wilder, Wilder, Wilder" with the Willow Cabin Theater Company of which she was a member/producer for a decade. Her numerous television and film credits include recurring roles as social worker Lauren White on "Law and Order, SVU" and Ingrid Mills on NBC's "Chicago Fire".
