Bruce Peoples
Bruce was born in Bethesda, Maryland, to David Lee Peoples and Peggy Peoples, the youngest of four boys; and grew up there and in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Delaware County, or 'Delco'). He is married to Diane O'Donnell and together they have three children. He first acted in school productions at Garnet Valley High School, but moved to Orlando, Florida where he finished high school and focused on football at Lake Brantley High School, earning first team All Conference honors as a 170-pound offensive guard. He graduated from Vanderbilt University (BA) and Indiana University (MBA). Bruce's first professional job was in Winston-Salem, NC, a city with a vibrant arts community. There Bruce starred in the theatre production of 'FoxFire' (originally a Hallmark made-for-TV-movie), where he portrayed a developer trying to purchase land from a widow in the rural North Georgia mountains. Fast forward to Atlanta where Bruce started training in earnest. His first break came in Homicide Hunter and in videos for a national retailer. Bruce starred in Just What the Doctor Ordered as Frank the neighbor; and has since starred in several commercials, videos, and a pilot. Bruce is an actor who is committed to continuous learning and improving through training. Bruce leverages skills from his business career in marketing, sales and conducting focus groups, such as active listening, improvisation, and understanding peoples' emotional drivers. Bruce lives in Atlanta and is excited about all the production activity in this great city, and is thrilled to be a part of the local acting community. In his spare time, Bruce can be found performing with his acoustic guitar at open mics in dive bars throughout the Atlanta area.
