Alexia Fast is a self taught actor who began her career at the age of eleven years old. Her first acting credit was a supporting role opposite Carrie-Anne Moss in the quirky comedy entitled "Fido". As a child, Alexia booked many leading roles in genres ranging from comedy to sci-fi, drama, period pieces and even horror. It seemed there were no limitations to her range and depth as a performer, regardless of her young age. At fourteen years old, Alexia won a Leo Award for Best Lead Actor in the psychological thriller "Past Tense" though she was up against adult nominees. In her teen years, Alexia was a regular at Sundance and The Toronto Film Festival promoting selected and often award winning feature films ever year. Alexia continued to win awards for her work and also gather nominations as she grew into a young adult. At the age of nineteen years old, Alexia beat out a world wide casting process to star opposite Tom Cruise in the Film "Jack Reacher". She was selected by the Academy Award winning director, Christopher McQuarrie. Alexia had her run booking series regular in many pilots for various networks. She also booked the series lead for CBC. A note worthy moment was when Alexia booked series regular on the straight to production period piece set in the 40's entitled "Manhattan" directed by nine-time Emmy Winner Thomas Schlamme. Alexia has performed opposite many well known actors such as Ryan Reynolds (The Captive), Elijah Wood (Dirk Gently), Bruce Willis (Apex), Victor Garber (Family Law), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel) and Rachel Brosnahan (Manhattan) to name a few. Having developed her range since she was a child, Alexia carries her performances with unparalleled depth in all genres. Alexia is an avid yoga enthusiast and enjoys singing and songwriting. Alexia is fluent in English and conversational French.
