Kristin is an actor and playwright, and the the writer and director of Undertow and Every Body Leaves, both of which premiered at Cinefest. She was nominated for best director at the Northern Ontario Music and Film awards in 2015. Her first play, $38,000 For A Friendly Face, won the 2007 Samuel French Canadian Playwrights Contest. It has been produced across Canada and in the U.S. Her third play, Curved, is being produced by Persistence Theatre Company in the spring of 2018 in St. John's, Newfoundland.
