Charlene Amoia
Charlene Amoia grew up in Buffalo, New York, relocating to Las Vegas at the age of 15. She would later move to Los Angeles to pursue her love of acting.
Amoia enjoyed a successful modeling career, and appeared in many commercials and television shows before landing the recurring role of Wendy the waitress on the hit sitcom "How I Met Your Mother". Though originally initially hired to play Wendy in only one episode, the character was so popular with audiences that the role was upped to recurring.
Amoia has appeared in several recent feature films including "Seven Pounds" (2008) with Will Smith, "American Reunion" (2012) with Jason Biggs, "Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn" (2020) playing the young Huntress's mother along side Margo Robbie and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson.
The actress, seen as Dr. Kate Lachman on "Grey's Anatomy", starred in indie hit, "Fat", which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. She recently guest starred as Bessica on the season finally of Matt LeBlanc's, "Man with a Plan."
