Katarina Launing
Katarina Launing was born in Sweden, and studied directing at the Norwegian Film School, graduating in 2000. She has since directed several short films and made her debut as a feature film director with the family adventure film Julenatt i Blåfjell (2009), co-directed by Roar Uthaug. Kule kidz gråter ikke (2014) is her second feature.
Katarina Launing and Roar Uthaug met while attending the directing program at The Norwegian National Film School. Since graduating, Katarina has directed short films and TV. Roar has made commercials and the feature Fritt vilt (2006). Julenatt i Blåfjell (2009) is their first feature as a directing team. They are developing projects both individually and as a team.
